Introduction: The pharmaceutical industry is one of the 12 industries that the national environmental protection plan outlines to address. The main waste gas pollution is dust-containing waste gas, organic solvent waste gas, fermentation tail gas, acid-base waste gas and malodor. Common methods for treating dusty exhaust gas are cyclone dust collectors, bag dust collectors, and water film dust collectors. Organic solvent waste gas treatment methods include: combustion, absorption, adsorption, condensation, biofilm method, pulse corona method, ozone decomposition method, plasma decomposition method. There is no reasonable plan for fermentation tail gas in China. The acid-base waste gas is mainly hydrogen chloride and ammonia. The treatment of hydrogen chloride is usually adsorption, absorption, condensation, falling film method; ammonia-containing waste gas treatment is generally water absorption, acid absorption method. Common stench management methods are: absorption, adsorption, biological method, soil method. The prevention and control of fugitive emissions is also the focus of improving the working environment of enterprises.
